D'Laney ~ Summer Session
D'Laney and I were supposed to meet up last April for prom pictures but it was literally blowing sand 60mph so we had to cancel the session...I was so bummed because we were both looking forward to it so much. Well, we were blessed with some amazing weather during her first session a couple of weeks ago so we have forgiven Mother Nature. ;)
D'Laney is a senior at Ropes and signed up for the Four Seasons package with me and for her summer session she wanted a vintage theme. Her grandparents property out in the country could not have made for a more perfect backdrop. The old bikes, the luggage, the hat, that weeping willow and the beautiful girl made for a perfect vintage session!!
My GPS took me about 10 miles away from the land I was supposed to meet D'Laney and her mom so that made me about 20 mins late to the session and with clouds building, it was growing incredibly dark so I was afraid I was going to be so disappointed in how these came out. But I am thrilled!!! And would you believe we shot all of these in about 45 minutes? D'Laney, please thank you grandfather for allowing us to shoot on his gorgeous land...I am so very appreciative.
I am super excited how these turned out but I am even more excited I get to shoot this beauty three more times this year. D'Laney, thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer and to document this special time of your life.
