Casey and Kaitlynn ~ Engagement

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

These two met on August 21, 2013 on the sand volleyball courts on the Texas Tech campus after being introduced by a mutual friend. After they finished playing, they headed over to their friend, Ryan's house and made breakfast food for dinner. Soon after, their "sneaky" friend who apparently had all this planned out ahead of time put on the song "L-O-V-E" by Frank Sinatra. This was when these two soon-to-be lovebirds had their first dance. It was this evening that Casey asked Kaitlynn out for their first date...

But the beautiful story doesn't end there because one year and five months later on January 17, 2015, Kaitlynn was lured to the Texas Tech rec center by her best girlfriend who was delivering drinks to her boyfriend (Casey was supposed to be out of town.) only for Kaitlynn to find a trail of bibles leading to the exact spot she and Casey met for the first time. Each of the bibles were opened to highlighted verses according to biblical scripture for marriage, family and love. And at the end of the bible trail, Casey got down on one knee and asked for Kaitlynn's hand in marriage. After she happily accepted, Casey picked Kaitlynn up and yelled "She said yes!!" and it was then that over 100 of their closest friends and family came running out to congratulate them. These two will marry at Cotton Creek in New Home on December 12, 2015 and then head off to Belize for their honeymoon and will then reside in Midland, Texas. I couldn't be more happy to be apart of this couple's engagement and wedding!
